My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I started this book with a smile because even though it hadn’t been that long since I read book 1, I needed to know how the story progressed, especially with everything that happened at the end of Avalanche.
This second instalment did not disappoint one bit. I love how Bellamy and Liam’s relationship strengthened and became a pillar they both clung to. With both their lives in danger thanks to very eager mobsters, it was heartwarming to see them seek solace in each other’s arms.
Blizzard was also incredibly hot, and Liam’s alpha-maleness kicked the heat level up a notch more. I simply love this couple together. I feel like I could read an entire book of them just hanging around, doing absoltely nothing. But I was also glad for the suspense element of the story, because the dangerousness of it all heightened the epicness of the romance and made me not just fear for their lives, but also swoon because of how much they would sacrifice to protect the other.
The more I read, the more I am curious about Alex’s character and hope he’ll get a story. As far as other secondary characters, a major twist that was hinted at at the end of Avalanche is a key point of this book that made my heart ache and added a level of depth to this instalment.
Now I cannot wait to get my hands on book three. I liked the ending of Blizzard, although it also left me reeling because of the darkness in it, so I need my next BearPaw fix to know these characters I have come to adore are going to be okay in the long run.
Great review Talia! I missed reading your reviews 🙂 I wanted to read the first book since it came out but never get a chance to get to it. I hope I will soon 🙂

Hi Mia! I know, it’s been a while since I posted a review. My life has gotten really busy, but I’m glad to have a blog for when I read books like this. Then I have a platform where to fangirl all I want ❤
